These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Reddit Studio. Please read them carefully — by using the service you agree to them.
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and Reddit Studio (“Reddit Studio”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) — a personal project operated by Ruben Meyburgh (github.com/MisticBadboy) — and govern your access to and use of our website, applications, and related services (together, the “Service”). By creating an account, joining the waitlist, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Reddit Studio is a software tool that helps you discover public Reddit stories, generate narration scripts, produce text-to-speech voiceovers and captions, assemble short-form vertical videos, and publish that content to third-party platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. Features may change, expand, or be discontinued over time.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements and that you are not barred from using it under any applicable law.
The Service is currently offered on a limited, pre-release (“beta”) basis and via a waitlist. Beta features are provided “as is,” may be unstable or incomplete, and may change or be removed at any time. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access, pricing, or any particular feature.
You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your account credentials secure, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect any unauthorized use.
You agree not to use the Service to:
“Your Content” means the source material you select (including Reddit posts and comments), the inputs you provide, and the videos and other outputs you generate using the Service. You retain whatever rights you hold in Your Content. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights and permissions to use, adapt, and publish it, and for complying with copyright law, Reddit’s content policies and API terms, and the rules of every platform on which you publish.
You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, and display Your Content only as needed to operate and provide the Service to you. We do not claim ownership of Your Content.
The Service lets you connect third-party accounts (for example, YouTube/Google, TikTok, and Instagram/Meta) so you can publish content. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party platforms, and connecting them authorizes us to act on your behalf only to the extent needed to perform the actions you request (such as uploading a video). You may disconnect a platform at any time.
The Service, including its software, design, branding, and content we provide (but excluding Your Content), is owned by Reddit Studio or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. “Reddit” and other third-party names are trademarks of their respective owners; Reddit Studio is an independent tool and is not endorsed by or affiliated with Reddit, Inc., YouTube, TikTok, or Meta.
The Service may be offered under a free tier and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed in advance through our payment processor on a recurring basis until cancelled. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing on a going-forward basis with reasonable notice. Usage limits (such as monthly video quotas) may apply to each plan.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any content generated will be accurate, lawful in your use, or fit for any particular purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reddit Studio and its owners, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD 100.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Reddit Studio from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of Your Content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms or of any third-party right or platform policy.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including sections 7–13) will survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located there for any dispute not subject to arbitration or small-claims resolution, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
