This Privacy Policy explains what information Reddit Studio collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
This policy applies to information we process when you visit our website, join the waitlist, create an account, or use Reddit Studio (the “Service”), a personal project operated by Ruben Meyburgh (github.com/MisticBadboy). It describes our practices as the controller of that information. It does not cover third-party platforms you connect or publish to, which have their own privacy policies.
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process personal data on the bases of performance of a contract (to provide the Service), our legitimate interests (to secure and improve the Service), your consent (for example, certain cookies or marketing), and compliance with legal obligations.
Reddit Studio’s use of information received from Google APIs, including the YouTube Data API, adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only access, use, and store Google user data to provide and improve user-facing features you request (such as uploading videos to your channel), we do not transfer or sell it for advertising or other unrelated purposes, and we do not allow humans to read it except with your consent, for security, or as required by law. YouTube features are additionally governed by the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke our access at any time via your Google security settings.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal purposes. Waitlist emails are kept until you ask us to remove them or the waitlist is retired. You can request deletion of your account data as described below.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR/UK GDPR, South Africa’s POPIA, and the CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email us at [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
We may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, where required by law.
The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, communicated to you.
For any privacy question or request, contact us at [email protected].
